The end-pieces and title page illustrations are by Denver artist Jack H. Shannon. "Dedicated to those pioneer women whose faith vision, and whose courage helped to build the West". Green cloth with silver spine title, and green title and decoration on silver background surrounded by silver brands, blue illustrated endpapers, dust jacket. A Very Good+ copy with light wear. In a Very Good- dust jacket a crease and some fraying at the front flap fold, a crease at the rear flap fold, some darkening and soiling of the paper, and a couple of small chips and tears to the rear panel.
