Hardcover. [30p] preface, dedication, frontis, rubricated dates, colophon states Two hundred and fifty copies of this work were printed at the Windover Press in the winter and spring of 1972. The types are Bembo and the paper is Rives. Composition and presswork by K. K. Merker, Howard Zimmon, Kay Amert, and Shari Madsen. Untrimmed/deckled fore-edge, bound in black cloth boards with gilt titles on the spine. Very good condition with mylar jacket.

Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Black cloth gilt, 8vo., (35) pages, etching of Johnson's death mask by John Thein. One of 250 copies printed from Bembo types on Rives Heavy mouldmade paper by K. K. Merker and apprentices. Bound by Elizabeth Kner. Merker felt this was one of the most successful books from the press. A clean, near fine copy with very slight fading at the spine, in archival mylar.
