Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Very Good. Eighteen volumes total (lacking the issues of April 1968 - February 1969). Quartos of slightly varying sizes. Individual issues bound into uniform gray buckram with spines gilt (not to be confused with the bound annual volumes issued by the publisher). Bound with wrappers; the earlier two volumes… issued in self-wrappers so the text is printed on the final page (and these two volumes incorrectly titled *Civil War Times Illustrated* on the spine). Bindings with minor scuffing and wear, page edges lightly foxed, occasional foxing to the preliminary and terminal leaves and one issue's cover with an abrasion (where it was adhered to the facing blank), a nice very good set. *Civil War Times* was founded in April 1959 (the first volume not present here), and their publication calendar ran from April to February, with issues not published in March and September. Volumes 2 and 3 of *Civil War Times* are 22 pages each. In April 1962 the magazine rebranded as *Civil War Times Illustrated* and began again with Volume 1, Number 1. They kept the same publication schedule, but increased the size of the magazine to 50 pages. *Civil War Times Illustrated* continued to be published until 2002.
