Most likely original binding in three quarter dark brown leather over marbled boards, frontis plate, 177 pages. Front joint cracked with cover holding by binder's cords, rear joint lightly cracked and secure, spine covering quite chipped with only a portion of the original gilt lettering remaining, text block sound, pages clean with a very tiny and faint dampstain to the upper margins of the first few pages, a handful of light pencil check marks and 19th century editorial pencil comments lightly written in the margins, no names or other markings. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
