Includes Memoir and Shakspeare's Will. Condition: Wear on top and bottom spine cover. Small white mark on spine. Rubbed on edges+ corners. Opening paste down owner name in period ink handwriting. Name repeated following o/p under which name stamp. Speckling on opening and closing pages. Slight age discolouration page edges. Otherwise clean, little wear, binding firm, good colour. GC overall. Bright Gilt Heraldic Device on front. Bright gilt double Linear border to front & rear. Gilt Floral Decoration in all spine compartments ex…cept the 2nd which has the title. Gilt decoration on board edges and blind tooled decoration on inner borders where the leather meets the endpapers. Marbled Endpapers and Page edges. A Memoir of Shakespeare and Shakespeare's Will precede the Plays & Poetry. The Glossary is at the back. 1136 Pages, 1.1 Kilos, 8" Tall. Some edge wear to leather with very small pieces missing at spine ends. Some Gilt rubbed away from the spine, including the title thought the Indented design & Lettering is very clear (see photos). Title Page Loose. No frontispiece. A few spots of foxing to half title page, Title Page and Preface but only an occasional spot thereafter. Pages very slightly age darkened but in nice, clean condition. Printed by Morrison and Gibb Limited, Edinburgh. Weighs 1.1 Kilos so Shipping outside UK will be a little extra.
