Reprint, originally published in 1975, 29 cm, xii, 443 p., ill., bibl., index. LP recording not included and no trace of pocket in back cover, so unlikely was issued with this reprint soft cover edition.

There is light wear to the spine tips & cover corners. The contents are clean & unmarked, the binding is tight. NO RECORD IN THE BACK. The dust jacket has chips off the spine tips, wear on the cover corners, wear along the edges with many closed tears. Now covered in mylar. This book weighs over 1 kilo so extra postage may be required.

DJ has small tears of no real consequence along upper fore-edge and a tiny amount of rsidue left from a sticker on the upper outside corner of front cover. Includes a clean 33 1 / 3 RPM disk with twelve recorded songs, including "God Save the King" [Edward Vll], recorded January 31, 1901 and sung by Herbert Darnley. A discography and in-depth ills.
