Color; glossy paper. complete run of Portfolio Magazine, aka "Portfolio, The Magazine of the Fine Arts." Twenty-six (26) issues total assembled from original subscription, with fill-ins. Portfolio had a short but noteworthy run; it is now a collector's item, with individual issues ranging up to ~ $16. Sold as a set. Portfolio covered European and American painting, photography, architecture, and non-Western art. It aimed at a general audience, rather than at academics or art insiders.
