Smyth sewing is a method of bookbinding where groups of folded pages (referred to as signatures) are stitched together using binder thread. First edition and first printing. Hardcover. 136 pages. Features an introduction by William Saroyan. Illustrated throughout with black and white photographs and text by Edwin Rosskam. A tight very good copy in blue cloth boards with some sunning to the edges and in an about very good price clipped dust jacket with some chips, tears, small abrasions and some sunning to the spine and edges. Despite the flaws a solid copy.
