Hardcover. Condition: Good. First Edition, First Printing. 319p. A hardcover book in very good condition. Original navy blue cloth, lacking the dustjacket. A few pages underlined in colored pencil else clean and tight. Slossan was a popularizer of science in the early 20th century (a prototype for figures like Carl Sagan and Bill Nye) as well as the first head of the Science Service. This book is a collection of religious talks with references to science, as Slossan was also a devout Presbyterian.
