    Condition: Good. 1962. First Edition. 94 pages. Red pictorial dust jacket over green cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Black and white drawings throughout by Irene Hawkins. Colour photographic frontispiece present. Pages are lightly tanned at the edges, with light foxing. Slightly more pronounced to endpapers and pastedowns. Binding has remained firm. Minor water marks to rear endpaper. Boards have slight shelf wear with bumping to corners. Spine ends are a little crushed with light tanning. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Light wear to clipped dust jacket with tears, nicks and creases to spine, edge and corners. Light tanning to spine and edges. Water marks to insides with noticeable staining to panels.

Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains. Book has a slight forward lean. Clipped jacket has moderate edge-wear with chips, tears and creasing.
