Cardstock wrappers printed in black and bound with black cloth tape. Wrappers quite worn and soiled, two missing pages have been REPLACED with a Xerox copy. Some remaining evidence of being a library copy, all photos in fine condition, all drawings in fine condition, all maps in fine condition, else good to near fine with no internal markings. Frank Elwin Weymouth (1874-1941) is recognized as one of America's foremost reclamation and hydraulic engineers. He oversaw construction of most of the great dams built by the United States government in reclamation of arid sections in the western United States. He was the General Manager and Chief Engineer for the Colorado River Aqueduct. Just a comprehensive and detailed narrative of the building of the California River Aqueduct, one of the great pieces of water infrastructure in the United States.
