Small 8vo anthology of Asklund's poetry and prose in grey/violet graphic illustrated mid-century boards, within a pictorial dustjacket. 78p., with light toning on spine. Text in Swedish. Asklund was a proletarian writer, publishing his first novel Bara en början ("Just a beginning") in 1929. The same year he contributed to the influential modernist anthology Fem Unga ("Five Young Ones"). Asklund may be best known for Manne, a series of autobiographical novels published in the 1950s. The numbers '1965' penned to free endpaper.
