Hardcover. Condition: g. First edition. 4to. 142 pp. Illustrated stamped light blue cloth with beveled edges. 75 stereographs and stereoscope resting in pockets inside front- and rear board. Pictorial journey of Lourdes, the city in which Bernadette Soubirous had her famous vision of the holy Mary on February 11th 1858, as well as an account of the events and the controversy following it. 4" x 6" reproduction of a thank you letter from the Vatican to the author and a promotional bookmark, laid in. Text section illustrated with 8 full page b/w photographic reproductions. Text in German. Minor shelf wear and discoloration on cover. Binding in good , interior in very good condition. Complete with all stereographs & stereoscope.
