Condition: Very Good. Örebro, N. M. Lindhs boktryckeri, 1843. 8:o. (2),+ 74 s. enstaka småfläckar. Häftad och oskuren i något nött blått samtida pappomslag, trasig i ryggen. Namnteckning på främre omslaget. Setterwall 3774. Montgomerys (på titelbladet stavad ?Montgommery?) bok utkom 1842. Ernst von Vegesack (1792-1863) var son till den Ernst von Vegesack som deltog som brigadchef i kriget i Pommern 1806-07 och som fördelningschef för västra armén vid infallet i Norge 1808. Vegesack den yngre deltog som löjtnant i 1808-09 års krig i Finland och kom senare att tillhöra oppositionen mot Carl XIV Johan. I ett uppsnappat brev till sin vän Gustav Johan von Düben pläderade han för återinsättande av Gustaf IV Adolf, vilket renderade honom landsflykt för högförräderi 1833. Redan 1835 fick han dock återvända hem och anställdes sedan vid Tullverket. Softcover / Paperback.

Från Trolleholm med Carl Trolle-Bondes exlibris och monogramstämpel. Setterwall 3373, anger felaktigt ?Eug. Vegesack? Ernst von Vegesack deltog som brigadchef i kriget i Pommern 1806-07, som fördelningschef för västra armén vid infallet i Norge 1808 och som befälhavare för den så kallade Svenska fördelningen i Finland 1808. Han dömdes till fästning av Gustav IV Adolf personligen, då denne menade att han landstigit i Finland på fel plats, men straffet hann inte verkställas innan Gustav IV Adolf avsattes. Utgivare av denna samling är hans son Ernst Vegesack den yngre som deltog som löjtnant i 1808-09 års krig i Finland. Senare kom han att tillhöra oppositionen mot Carl XIV Johan och i ett uppsnappat brev till sin vän Gustav Johan von Düben pläderade han för återinsättande av Gustaf IV Adolf, vilket renderade honom landsflykt för högförräderi 1833.
