Also included were her metalled badge of the G.Q. Parachute Company, letters, pass, National Registration identity card, and a number of other personal documents and photographs, creating an unique archive. The catalogue includes a brief biography and many moving comments from people who had the privilege of knowing Violette Szabo during her short life. The collection made a record price of £312,000 (a hammer price of £260,000), and the medals are now on public display in the Lord Ashcroft Gallery at the Imperial War Museum in London.
