Inner spine has been repaired with binders glue. Hinges split but reinforrced and fairly tight. Photos on request. Size: Oblong 8vo.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Attractive pictorial cloth, 47 printed pages complete with the wonderful illustrations and one page of adverts at the rear. Quite darkened cloth, slight fraying to the spine ends, foxing to the pages.

Cloth Over Boards. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. M. B. De Monvel (illustrator). This book has more length then height. Bound in a gold cloth that has darkened to brown on spine and edges. Black lettering on the front cover with raised illustration. Spine is plain. There is corner bumping, wear and chipping of head and foot of spine. Spill mark, staining upper edge of covers. Binding is mostly solid, but there is a break between pages 16 & 17, 32 & 33. Text is in French. Illustrations are sharp and very good. Due to the size of this book, it may require additional shipping. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.

Sympathetically repaired with a new spine. Red edgestain. Blue endpapers. Inscription on the front flyleaf(v). Pages bright with light age toning and the occasional use mark. Boards and spine rubbed, bumped, and slightly edge worn. Gold cloth has faded around the edges. Overall a charming book in good condition.
