First Limited Editions Club edition, No. 1455 of 1500 copies printed, illustrating and presenting these three famed Greek tragedies. Ayrton (1921-1975) was a noted British sculptor, printmaker, painter, and novelist who centered several works around the myths of the Minotaur and Daedalus.

Light foxing to the edges of the text block, else the book is in very good condition. The dustwrapper is in good plus condition (a little rubbed, short nick to the front panel).
