A unique original book of bound pen-and-ink drawings by a Michigan engineer, who even penned the cover title on this leather-bound graph book with a decorative bar near the top and a small flower device at bottom. 8vo, old brown leather, 20 pages of sketches and text on 120 leaves. includes detailed drawings of mine apparatus and floor plans. There is a rare drawing on page 20 of the James Mine Office Blue Print Machine. All 20 pages have detailed pen-and-ink drawings with accompanying descriptive text. The drawings are well accomplished. covers with some wear, a couple of pages have some marking. A fine and unique piece of Michigan mining history. Signed.
