Here is a massive two-volume set of his history of Ireland in a fine Victorian binding, signed by Francis Guy, a bookbinder from Cork, Ireland, with a samll label on the front paste-down. Very Good copies. Gray leather with red tips and spine, ruled with six bands, filled with gilt. The name of the (presumed) owner who had them bound, is lettered in gilt on the front covers. Clean text; the pagination is continuous, with Volume One having 256 pages, while Volume Two continues to 592. There is no publication date, but per Copac and LoC, Quercus assigns them to 1854. These are truly large crown octavos (11"x8"x3" thick), and weighing over five pounds each. Obviously, shipping will be at exact cost.
