The back cover has a two inch crease to the top corner and a light stain but otherwise only slight wear to the covers. The dust jacket is in very good condition. It has small tears and rubbing along the edges with the largest being on the head of the spine and minimal fading on the head and foot of the spine. Price clipped. This is a first edition of Lowndes's classic science fiction novel. Lowndes was the editor of several science fiction and fantasy magazines. Jacket illustration by Kenneth Fagg.
