The 3 etchings are signed by Fazzini with a pencil. The poems by Giuseppe Ungaretti (1888-1970) one of the greatest Italian poets of the XX century. It is a perfect edition with protective box and strong covers. Great and large ex libris by artist Margit Gaal, showing a lady dancing with death. Signed by Author.

Der porträtierte Dichter Guiseppe Ungaretti wurde in Alexandria (Ägypten) geboren, da sein Vater am Bau des Suezkanals beteiligt war. Ungaretti studierte ab 1912 in Paris an der Sorbonne.… Während dieser Zeit lernte er verschiedene Künstler kennen (Apollinaire, Max Jacob, Derain, Picasso, Braque, Peguy, Bergson). Seine ersten Texte waren von den französischen Futuristen beeinflusst. Ungaretti war mit seiner dunklen Lyrik führender Vertreter des literarischen Ermetismo. Seine Gedichte wurden von Autoren wie Ingeborg Bachmann, Hilde Domin und Paul Celan ins Deutsche übersetzt. Originale Lithografie auf festem Velin. Auflage: 250 hier 98/250. Mit Bleistift von Hand signiert und nummeriert. Mit dem Trockenstempel des Verlages in der linken unteren Ecke.
