First Edition
Staplebound. Condition: Very good. First Edition (?). 16mo, unpaginated [16pp.], plus folding map. A very good copy with mild toning to extremities. Foldimg map, inserted at the middle, has a pin-hole in the middle fold, as is likely typical. Small inked number on the front wrap. Scarce ephemeral guide to the history of Geauga County, the rural county just east of Cuyahoga. Founded by Connecticut settlers during the Western Reserve era, and thus bearing a history as old as Cleveland's, Geauga has remained mostly rural for the last two centuries. The folding map, clearly designed by local enthusiasts, depicts the townships and various local points of interest. Scarce in commerce, and we note just two holdings in OCLC (Cleveland Public Library and NYPL).
