That is really the best part, what a jacket! Jacket has some scuff and spots and fades and soil but still holds its own. Text is that rough cut paper page edge which is holding also, quite nicely, but has yellowed over time. All in all, a little honey of a book in stable condition.

The endpapers are decorated with a shadow drawing. Page 135 was printed improperly, so its excess hangs out of the book. The dust jacket has been placed in a protective vinyl cover. Its front flap has been clipped. There is some general edgewear on the jacket. There are two small tears in the jacket on the front cover, two in the spine, and two in the front flap.
