No Binding. Condition: Very Good. Fischer, Orr (signed) (illustrator). 6x8 palette knife oil on cardboard, probably painted in the late 1940s in the Bryce or Zion Canyon area. Orr C. Fisher (1885-1974), painter and cartoonist, was born and educated in Iowa and had a varied life including driving a freight wagon in Wyoming, maintaining signals on the Chicago Rock Island Railroad, painted murals at the US Post Offices in Mount Ayr and Forest City, Iowa, and lived in Woodstock, NY in the 1960s.
