The Rubáiyát has 108 pages comprising 75 quatrains enriched with 20 full-page single-sided colour plates, including the second half title, all with tissue-guards and elaborate initial capitals in orange and black by Anne Harriet Fish. Attractive bookplate to the front paste down is that of Francis Edward Bliss (1847-1930), businessman and art collector from Massachusetts - but perhaps most notable as the father of Arthur and Howard Bliss. Corners bumped and with rubbing along the bottom edges, light foxing to the edges of the end papers and in Very Good clean condition. Member of the P.B.F.A. Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám.
