Rex Forrester is one of NZ's best known and most popular authors on hunting and his "True Hunting Adventures", first published in 1980, covers the the deer stalking field , mainly in NZ, but the first of its 21chapters is an account of a buffalo hunt in Montana. In addition to actual stalking stories, others deal with firearms, eg "The Memorable Old .303 Rifle", hunting safety "People Kill -Guns don't", hunting from jet boats and helicopters and the capture of wild animals in "Bring 'em Back Alive." The 1980 first edition was followed by this card cover reprint in 1984, 208 pages, b/w photos throughout with each chapter introduced with a full page drawing. Colour pictorial card covers are VG+. internally VG+, no inscriptions.
