Eps with attractive gold and turquoise marbled-effect patern, front pastedown having small label: EX-LIBRIS PAUL GAVAULT. 279pp. Tight, bright and clean, with minimal age-toning and evidence of handling.Silk page ribbon attached. Profusely illus. by Charles Fouqueray, with b/w drawings set amongst the text, decorative chapter headings and full-page monochrome plates from the original watercolours. Overall, a handsome volume.
