    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good-. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good-. First Edition. Merce Cunningham (1920-2009) an American dancer and choreographer who was a highly influential voice in modern American dance for over fifty years. This book provides reproductions from his working notebooks showing the development of his ideas and the creative process used in translating his thoughts into individual dances. There is no indication of the edition; it is presumed to be a first edtion. Original white cloth publisher's covers with blue spine lettering. The covers have some faint dampstaining and there are a few age spots (foxing) at the lower portion of the front and rear covers. There is a small previous owner sticker on the front free end paper, else this is a tight, clean and unmarked book.
