Softcover. Condition: As New. Leichte Kratzer / Abnutzungen / Druckstellen. A posthumous novel that can be considered a twin of A Requiem for a Malta Fascist (1980) with which it shares several similarities in terms of theme and style. Both novels discuss fascism and the Second World War.

Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. pp: [x] [2] 3 - 243. Pictorial card covers. The first appearance of this novel by the Maltese author. The cover blurb is worth quoting. "His new powerful Malta novel of Fascist love, lust and intrigue and the brutal Nazi siege of the islands." Ebejer is perhaps best known for the more than fifty plays he wrote during the second half of the twentieth century. However, he also wrote seven novels. And this one is his fourth. This is a very good copy of a scarce book. There is moderate soiling, and edge wear, mainly at the corners. The binding is tight, free of reading creases. And, the text block is clean and without markings.
