Limited edition of 925 unnumbered copies (as stated per Mosher's rear colophon). Cardboard slipcase, H 16cm x L 14.75cm, toned and soiled with scuffing at edges but seams remain firm. i-x, 1-17 pages. Lacks glassine/acetate dj with which it was issued but retains blue paper dust jacket which has some foxing and minor loss to toned spine along with bumped top flap fold corners. Moderately flexible tan thin cardstock covers bumped at their top fore-edge corners. Deckle edges foxed. Some interior foxing; four-line ink gift inscription on front free endpaper verso with ghost impression to opposing front fly recto; some foxing and slight soiling to initial and rear leaves but otherwise pages are clean. Binding is firm. Rear colophon states "Nine hundred and twenty-five copies of this book (Sixth Edition) printed Van Gelder hand-made paper for Thomas Bird Mosher and published by him at Portland Maine in the month of October [1926]" with the claim that Mosher (as an individual) was publisher rather spurious as he passed away in 1923; however Mosher's firm continued under the direction of his long-time secretary Flora MacDonald Lamb until it finally ceased operations in 1931.
