Internally mint and free of inscriptions; printed by Richard Clay [The Chaucer Press, Bungay ]; very attractively illustrated; brown end papers with a map of part of the Rockies showing Parkman's route and the Oregon and Santa Fe trails; top edges deep maroon.The light brown slip case is in near fine condition. An attractive copy.
