Richly illustrated throughout with woodcuts, maps and ink drawings adorning the text. Each chapter has a header illustration and decorated capitals. Good+ condition volume. The binding remains firm and straight with no loose pages and no separation at the gutters. The gilt detail on the spine remains bright.
