Condition: Good. 1958. Reprinted. 470 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt lettering. Volume I. Minor thumb marking, foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges, lighter to pastedowns and free endpapers. Light cracking and staining to gutters; some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning with minor scuffing overall. Slight splitting to joints. Spine has heavier tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear.
