Magazine / Periodical First Edition
Soft cover. Condition: Poor. Lawrence (Stevens, Lawrence Sterne); (illustrator). First Edition. Includes one book length novel 'The Second Deluge' by Garrett P. Serviss and a short story, 'Finis' by Frank Lillie Pollock. The main story was originally serialised in The Cavalier in 1911. It was first published in the US in hard covers by Richards in 1912. The front cover has a half inch chip out of the top left corner and is torn along most of the length of the spine. The rear cover is detached and the surface of the spine has largely gone. The binding is secure enough however. The pages are browned with a few small tears to the edges but are otherwise generally unmarked. Cover and interior illustrations by Lawrence.
