Paperback or Softback. Condition: New. Daa de Los Muertos. Book.
Paperback. Condition: New. Día de los Muertos is the lynchpin poem of Snake #3: Hunger Sutras, the third installment in Lemons's Snake Quartet, being published as its own chapbook/adult coloring book. The poem is based on Lemons's real, lived experience with a Día de los Muertos celebration in Oaxaca, Mexico; and though history truly comes alive, there is a sense that the authenticity of such a celebration is a thing of the past. Like the bones of a giant beast dug out of a tar pit then reassembled, it must poorly represent the living creature. Día de los Muertos intends to illuminate the dark things that scuttle out of graves carrying pieces of the newly buried back to the world to reanimate with new potential.

Paperback. Condition: new. Paperback. Snake: Second Wind continues the apocalyptic narrative introduced in its prequel, Snake, where all organic forms are destroyed by the planet Earth in a retributive act of self defense. From these destroyed forms the genderless eternal voice of snake is born. In Second Wind the poems--with choral asides--explore the possibility that life is only an agreed upon illusion, only real within a certain narrow bandwidth in the sense fog is created by a confluence of heat and moisture for an undetermined time until it disappears back to it's constituents. The poems in Second Wind describe and channel the invisible realities infinitely curled around the visible ones--where fictions--invented stories--dreams, the aspirations and histories--the living and the presumed dead--are all present and real forever. Snake: Second Wind continues the apocalyptic narrative introduced in its prequel, Snake , where all organic forms are destroyed by the planet Earth in a retributive act of self defense. Paperback. Condition: New. Snake-the Hunger Sutras is the third book in the Snake Quartet. By now snake has carried the lost voices-from the smallest single celled whisper to the bellow of more complex creatures as she wanders the empty Earth. Thousands-maybe millions of years-listening--while also searching for the clues in the ruins that when puzzled into insight become the beginning movement in the opera of life returning. The clues are fossils embedded in the archeological remains of stone and air-fire and rain. All that is left. Except for snake.
Paperback. Condition: New. Gary Lemons's The Weight of Light breaks down the wall between poet and reader and invites us to meditate with him on all things beautiful and ugly, in a way that makes us proud to be a part of the world. Lemons explores human and nonhuman relationships, dissecting them just enough to give us a glimpse before sealing them back up and tucking them into the pages. He shows us the painful, the heartbreaking, the fearful-but pairs them with the magnificent and the joyful in such a way that we are relieved and elated to have them all. "The hunger in everything wants out," he tells us, and this collection contains the hunger to truly know the world. "It's here-and so am I-and so are you" and we are delighted and humbled to be here with him.
Paperback. Condition: New. WINNER OF THE 2026 AMERICAN LEGACY AWARDThe Book of Spells is a collection of poems that believes the world around us is shaped and reshaped by language and that changing our language is a revolutionary act of political and social magic that can replace long-standing destructive agreements with the benignity of loving clarity. This collection of spells begins by following the tracks of a mythical creature composed of language and blood across an unblemished field of silence. We can never catch this creature, who perhaps is made real by our pursuit of it. There are glimpses-shadows-made into poems in a poor attempt to construct the whole from the parts. This book is a brush dipped in flowers-corpses-schoolyards-the smell of ocean and tears attempting to paint over without erasing the world we've constructed as it is.
