Original Radierung, unsigniert, hinter Glas gerahmt, Maße: 18,8 cm x 25 cm, (Rahmenmaß: 33 cm x 42,2 cm)---- Paul Geissler war ein Deutscher Landschafts- und Architekturmaler und Graphiker / 4 Jahre Studium an der Kunstgewerbeschule in Erfurt bei K. Ruser zum Dekorationsmaler, Patent als Malergehilfe / Dann an der Kunstschule Weimar, Meisterschüler bei Max Thedy / Aufenthalte in Deutschland, Österreich, Dresden und Brüssel / 1909 in München-Schwabing tätig / Aufenthalt in Paris eröffnete ihm gleichsam eine neue Welt. Hatte er in der Dresdener Galerie noch alte Meister kopiert, in München behagliche bayerische Landschaften gemalt, so fesselten das großzügige, bunte Straßenleben der Seinestadt seine Aufmerksamkeit / Seitdem wurde er vornehmlich Darsteller von Städte-und Straßenbildern, die er mit leichter Nadel charaktervoll auf die Platte bringt - 750 Gramm.
