The 8.5 by 11 inch staple-bound softcover is 48 pages and in good condition. The catalog covers in detail the engineering, applications, and benefits of rigid metal lath. There are illustrations and schematics within. The cover has rubbing and fading and a library stamp dated 1925 with a call number sticker. The inside pages are clean and without markings or wear. The catalog covers proper application and use, specifications, different surface and many schematic drawings for different application scenarios.

Soft cover. Condition: Good. Softcover vintage catalog by the General Fireproofing Company. Gray paper wraps and endpapers, with red details & lettering on the front cover and spine. 111 pages. With descriptions, tables, black & white illustrations and photographs throughout. This is an ex-library copy with few markings: stamps and writing in pencil and ink on the front cover, a label with a reference code. Spine and edges of the wraps are discolored. There are tears and chips to the spine, as well, and some bumped corners and edges, a 1" chipped section on the bottom edge of the front cover, and a creased lower right corner on the front cover. Interior is clean & unmarked with light toning to the edges of the pages. No loose or missing pages. Contents include: Fireproofing of Beams and Columns; Floors - Self-Sentering Reinforced with Expanded Metal; Self-Sentering Garages; Self-Sentering Silos; Self-Sentering for Steps, Stairs, and Seat Risers; and others. A nice, extensively illustrated catalog.

It later expanded and became well-known for building steel office furniture and fireproof safes and filing cabinets. It also manufactured aircraft parts during the Second World War. The business filed for bancruptcy in 1989. The current catalog included descriptions, dimensions, and images of various file cabinets and cases, including "Correspondence File," "Tabulating System File," "Card Index File," and so on.

White and cream wrappers, in good condition. 59 pages, measuring 8.5 x 11 inches in size. Contains partial color illustrations, descriptions, and dimensions of units. There is rubbing to the wrapper and shelf wear; there is a small open tear along the bottom edge of the back cover. There are library markings along the top of the front cover. Binding is strong with clean and unmarked pages.
