An acceptable reading copy only. George D. Huff, M.D., was Associate Professor, San Diego State College; Fellow, American College of Surgeons; and Attending Gynecologist, San Diego County Hospital. The work is a compilation of lecture notes used by the author for over seventeen years in teaching non-medical women students of college age. While not intended as a comprehensive medical textbook for physicians, it offered a clear, accessible overview of gynecology, covering anatomy, reproductive health, menstruation, diseases of the female reproductive organs, and gynecologic surgical procedures.
