A Very Good, navy blue binding with gilt illustration and gilt lettering on front board and rubbed/faded gilt lettering on spine, binding intact, some handling/scuffing to boards, rubbing to board/spine edges and joints, some age toning to pages, bit of wear to board corners and spine edges, spine buckram starting to separate from backing material, top text block edge a bit dusty, mild spine lean, bit biblichor, mild wavinf along top and bottom page edges, without Dust wrapper. A nice, overall clean and unmarked copy. 4to[quarto or approx. 11.5 x 13.5 inches], 291pp., indexed, list of illustrations, b&w illustrations.
