On first front end paper in black ink: "To Kim Palmer-Herzog, It was my pleasure meeting you and your husband--Stay close--Artfully yours, Gerome. 10/22/03" with a flourish. DJ glossy white with a color abstract illustration at center front, vertical thin red line pattern to front, spine and back with a color photo of author-illustrator at top back left.
