Paper pasted on thin cardboard. 14,5 x 10 cm. Framed in black passepartout [32 x 23.5 cm] with photo. Signed 'To Knud, Best Wishes Stan Getz' in blue pen. Name typed on front by recipient. Stamp with date on back. Filing number and date of death written on back. * 1927 - 1991. The jazz saxofonist Stan Getz, nicknamed 'The Sound', started his career in Woody Herman's big band. He played with great musicians like Nat King Cole, Lionel Hampton and Dizzy Gillespie. He has won several Grammy awards, and featured on numerous studio recordings.
