First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First edition. Second volume only. 404pp. Illustrated from black and white photographic plates. Pages lightly age-toned, spine ends and corners lightly bumped, spine slightly cocked a bit, a very good copy in a good only edgeworn dustwrapper with tears and tape repair being W.G.M. Hume's copy with his name inked on the front fly and his disagreeable notation on page 135 in which Hume exclaims "I NEVER DID!!" in respect to the incident occurring on May 3rd, 1944 when his Spitfire Mk.IX MK179 of No.403 Sqn RCAF was hit by flak and he baled out 12 miles off Le Treport. He drifted about an hour in a dinghy until he was rescued by an Air Sea Rescue Walrus. This is the second volume in the story of the Royal Canadian Air Force squadrons during World War II. An interesting association copy.
