The original blue-green cloth is in excellent shape, with corners sharp and gilt lettering as bright as if just issued on the barely-bumped spine. The interior is crisp and creamy-bright; however, NOTE that my philosopher-father who founded, then chaired for eighteen years, the Seminars in World Religion at Columbia University, left pencil markings in the introduction, and on about a dozen pages in the rest of the text. The original sturdy printed dust jacket has one drop of coffee, front and center, with light sunning to the spine overlapping a bit onto the rear panel; the flap is unclipped and price (£2.50) still present.
