The history of Apple in t-shirt form, from 1977 to 1997, with each of the 1000-plus designs captioned with explanations of each creator's role and project, showing the technical development of Apple's products through the two decades that saw the rise of the personal computer. An important corporate record of an inherently ephemeral form, essentially produced in house before Apple's second renaissance. A sentimental paean to the days of Wozniak and Jobs, and a fascinatingly focused timeline of visual design. 11" x 8.5" Original grey cloth boards with silver-stamped spine. In original unclipped (flap unpriced, but $39.95 to rear panel) pictorial dust jacket. [xvi], 204 pages. Touches of shelfwear here and there to jacket. Else bright, sharp, and clean overall. Fine in a near fine or better jacket.

A view into the small and fairly closed world of software developers in the eighties and nineties, and a very good example of what we could call here 'outsider design'- certainly way before apple became glossy and hired brand consultants and that type of thing. Makes a wonderful reference.
