Hard Back. Condition: Near Fine. No Dust Jacket. First Printing. 407 Pages Indexed. Laminated pictorial boards. Brand new CD-Rom in an unopened protective sleeve. A building automation system is a network of "intelligent" control devices used in one or more building systems, such as HVAC, lighting, and security systems. Building… automation systems operate cooperatively to share building information and control system devices automatically according to programmed logic. Building Automation: Control Devices and Applications focuses on these control devices and how they work together in common automation scenarios. This textbook covers the operation, signals, and functions of the sensors, actuators, and other control equipment used in automated systems in commercial buildings. The textbook is organized by building system, and each system is explained so that the function and application of each device is clear. The system-based foundation is then used to discuss the typical interactions between multiple systems in automated buildings. Tucker, Samuel T. - Cover Design (illustrator).

Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1917, Hutchinson & Co, I am assuming that this is an early partwork bound in one complete volume 23cm x 28cm x 5cm and comprising 616pp. Unfortunately whoever got this set bound has missed out any index or title page that might add to the bibliographic details. Such information as I ha…ve is gleaned from others entries. It would also appear although the text was definitely written during the First World War there may be later reprints so I can't put an exact date on this volume. By the look of it each part came with a full page colour print of which I count 19 in the volume. The colour plates are on a different type of paper from the text and have some light foxing on the back which doesn't show through to the front. The pages are in good clean condition and the volume is profusely illustrated with black and white photographs and other monochrome images in addition to the colour plates. The endpapers also have some very faint foxing but overall the volume is in very good clean condition with incredibly stout bindings which are showing no signs of wear or damage. Despite the weight there will be no additional postage to pay by a UK buyer., Book weighs 2943g. For UK buyer if book weighs more than 2Kg when packed (allow 150g-200g for packing) we will request additional postage. For non UK buyer the threshold is 399g surface mail, 150g airmail. Please don't order unless prepared to pay or ask first. ISBN.
