Rare exemplaire original de la thèse de doctorat en médecine d'Eugène Le Gouriérec, intitulée « L'épreuve de la mydriase provoquée chez le sujet normal », soutenue à la Faculté de Médecine de Paris en 1921 et imprimée la même année à Paris par l'imprimerie Dubois et Bauer, 34 rue Laffitte.La thèse, imprimée sous…forme de brochure, compte 61 pages et suit la structure classique des thèses parisiennes de l'époque : introduction, rappels physiologiques, méthodologie de l'épreuve de mydriase, observations chez le sujet normal, interprétations et conclusions.Particularité très appréciable : l'exemplaire porte un envoi manuscrit autographe, daté du 7 juillet 1921 et signé « E. Le Gouriérec ».L'ouvrage se présente sous sa forme d'origine, en brochure à couverture papier. La couverture montre quelques légères taches, mais l'ensemble reste en bon état d'usage. L'intérieur, avec son texte intégral sur 61 pages, offre un contenu lisible.Idéal pour enrichir une bibliothèque médicale ancienne, une collection de thèses de la Faculté de Paris ou un fonds dédié à l'histoire de la physiologie et de l'examen clinique.
