Cartonatura coeva alla rustica, titolo ms. al dorso. Buon esemplare, a grandi margini intonsi, al frontespizio firma coeva di privata appartenenza. (12155) Trattato poco comune del giurista Carlo De Grassis, "siculo panormitano", su cui è difficile reperire notizie. É citato dal Mongitore, Bibl. Sicula, pag. 125, secondo il quale la prima edizione sarebbe apparsa a Palermo nel 1617. Il trattato principale è dedicato al ruolo dei Cherici, alle loro prerogative, ma soprattutto ai divieti che li concernono, con ampio spazio dedicato nelle prime pagine ai "clerici fornicantes", al concubinaggio, all'impegno di conservarsi astemi e sobri, ad astenersi dai convivi e dalla mondanità, etc. Da segnalare, a pag. 175, il paragrafo "Clerici non debent se immiscere in rebus secularibus". Interessante, al termine, il Tractatus de Amicitia, dove si esaminano le varie categorie e tipologia dell'amicizia, e dei suoi effetti.
