Gray paper covered boards with embossed Historical Society stamp on front. Black buckram spine with gilt titling. Boards lightly shelfworn, with unbumped corners and clean spine. Some dust spotting to page edges. Interior is clean and bright and securely bound. Almost all the pages remain uncut. Both authors gained prominance as historians in later life.
