Draft script for the 1988 film. Copy belonging to uncredited crew member Hendrik "Henry" Wynands, with his name in manuscript ink on a business card stapled to the front wrapper. With copied annotations on virtually every page, amending pagination, noting scene breaks, and marking characters, sets, and props. A high school nerd asks the most popular girl in school to prom, but the big night is beset by problems. Featuring appearances by members of Parliament-Funkadelic as the fictional band The Rat's Nest. Set and shot on location in Los Angeles. Beige generic Kings Road Entertainment wrappers. Title page present, dated 4/86, with credits for screenwriters Gregory Scherick and Thom Eberhardt. 121 leaves, with last page of text numbered 108. Xerographic duplication, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, wrapper about Near Fine, bound internally with two gold brads.
