Association copy--address stamp of Dr. W. Raithel inside front flyleaf. Dr. Raithel was one of the original members of Dr. Wernher von Braun's team of German rocket scientists. During World War II Raithel was assigned to Pennemunde and worked with von Braun on the V2 rocket; after the war he rejoined the von Braun team in Texas in 1947 and came with them to Huntsville in 1950.
